Rivian R1S/R1T (GEN1) - Longitudinal Upgrade Kit

This CAN Bus Interface plugs directly into your vehicle's harness and connects via USB-C to the secondary port on the Comma 3X. Once installed, it reads steering wheel button presses, allowing you to use your speed-set commands to control openpilot's longitudinal functions. This offers a potentially smoother adaptive cruise experience compared to the built-in Rivian ACC. 
Please note: Enabling this functionality requires software modifications, necessitating the use of a compatible openpilot fork.

Variant-Specific Components:

• The harness sold on Comma’s website does not include the second connector required for steering-wheel button signals.
• If you select the comma.ai harness variant, the necessary second-connector adapter is bundled with your upgrade.
• If you choose the loetkolben harness variant, no extra adapter is needed—the harness already provides the connector.
